European Dental Laboratory Ltd started business at Church Workers Institute in Crediton, Devon in 1992. The original idea was to form a business that concentrated on quality rather than quantity; this is something we have strived to maintain.

EDL was predominately a Chrome Cobalt Laboratory with a small Prosthetic department, times have moved on and we have a large and very active Prosthetic department specialising in the BPS system, Ivocap SR injection system, Acetal injection mouldings (clasps & bridges) Valplast and Duraflex Dentures, Sleepwell anti snoring devices and a wide range of vacuum formed appliances.

In 2010 we started a Crown & Bridge department using only top quality branded products such as Duceram Kiss porcelain, Ivoclar E-max, Zirconia and Gradia. Years of experience also bring an in depth knowledge in many of the leading Implant systems on the market.

Our Chrome Cobalt department use only high quality CE marked materials. We use all of the Vitallium alloys V5, V2, 2000, and 2000plus. Our investment and our standard chrome alloy are supplied by Shera. Alongside this we have a Rofin Laser welder which allows us to produce superior welds without the need to use solder or weld rod, giving cleaner and stronger joints.

European Dental has achieved Platinum Standard Approved Laboratory in Implants, Valplast Approved Laboratory for flexible Dentures and Sleepwell Approved Laboratory for anti snoring devices.

In 2012 we started a major refit, put in a full second floor and a larger plaster room to help with the growth of the Laboratory. Along side these improvements, we consider the continued training of our technicians of the upmost importance, to produce the quality and expertise to further our commitment to our clients.
